As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Registered Art Therapist, I have a variety of methods to meet the needs of those I work with. I utilize skills-based (CBT, DBT, mindfulness), process-oriented and relational approaches depending on the goals we make. I believe therapy is an active and collaborative process to facilitate insight and change.
Having trained and become certified in expressive art therapy, I offer individualized therapeutic methods that allow people to better understand themselves and their situation. Language can often be limiting. By exploring one’s world through the creative process, one can express themselves more fully, gain new perspectives and build new coping skills.
